Paradox DG85 Outdoor Security Motion Detector

The Paradox DG85 Outdoor Motion Detector is a high-security digital PIR sensor designed for reliable perimeter protection in demanding outdoor environments. It uses dual optics with two dual-opposed infrared sensing elements to improve detection accuracy and help reduce false alarms. With the standard Pet Array lens, the DG85 provides coverage of approximately 11m x 11m with a 90° viewing angle, making it suitable for entrances, gardens, driveways, patios and building perimeters. The detector also features pet immunity for animals up to 40kg, multi-level sensitivity adjustment and Paradox digital motion processing. Its UV-protected lens, impact-resistant enclosure and outdoor weather-resistant construction are designed to cope with sun, wind, dust and changing temperatures. The DG85 can operate through either relay mode or Paradox communication bus mode, making it suitable for professional alarm installations.
