Monitor compatible indoor or outdoor areas with the Intelli-Vision 1080p AHD Mini PTZ CCTV Camera. This compact wired surveillance camera delivers 1080p video through an AHD-compatible CCTV system. The motorised pan-and-tilt housing allows the viewing direction to be adjusted when connected to compatible PTZ control equipment. Four illumination modules surround the central camera lens to support day-and-night monitoring. The IP66-rated housing provides protection against dust and strong water jets when the camera and cable connections are installed correctly. The attached cable provides a BNC connector for analogue video transmission and a separate DC barrel connector for power. Please note that IP66 refers to the camera’s ingress-protection rating. This is an AHD analogue camera and not an IP-network, Ethernet or Wi-Fi camera. Confirm the required PTZ control method with the DVR or installer. Use the power voltage and polarity specified on the camera label. Do not connect an unverified power supply. Protect the BNC and DC connections inside a suitable weatherproof junction box. Mount the camera on a firm surface using appropriate fasteners. Position the camera where its movement will not be obstructed. Test the video feed, pan and tilt functions before completing the installation. IP66 does not mean that the camera may be submerged in water. Professional CCTV installation is recommended. Important clarification The “IP” in IP66 means Ingress Protection. This product does not connect directly to an Ethernet network, router or Wi-Fi connection. It requires a compatible wired AHD CCTV system.
